Those results have created opportunities for several countries whose championship odds remain surprisingly attractive despite reaching the Sweet 16.

If there is one country that stands out entering the Sweet 16, it’s Colombia.

At approximately 30-1 to win the World Cup outright on FanDuel at the time of recording, Colombia offers an intriguing combination of upside and price. They’re no longer just hoping to survive—they’ve earned a place among the final 16 nations and now need only a handful of victories to complete an unlikely championship run.

Of course, a 30-1 ticket is still a long shot. But this is exactly the type of opportunity many futures bettors search for once the bracket begins to open up.
