2026 Super Bowl Odds: Three High-Value NFL Futures Bets

The 2026 NFL season is kicking off with one clear favorite, but there are plenty of high-value options deeper on the board. Futures betting gives NFL fans another reason to follow every winning streak, injury and breakout performance throughout the season. If one of these teams starts fast, its current price could disappear in a matter of weeks.

Here are our three favorite high-value Super Bowl futures to consider as the 2026 NFL season begins.

Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Odds: Strong Value at 16-1

Earlier in the preseason futures market, Chiefs fans could find Kansas City at a surprisingly high 20-1. The Chiefs’ Super Bowl odds have already shortened to 16-1, but that still offers value for a team with the core and coaching staff of a multiple-time champion.

Patrick Mahomes is returning from torn ACL and LCL ligaments in his left knee. The injury ended his 2025 season and required months of rehabilitation. Mahomes is expected to start in Week 1, but questions about his mobility and ability to extend plays may follow him during the opening weeks.

Travis Kelce is also no longer the dominant physical threat he once was. Even so, head coach Andy Reid and defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo still lead a proven system that has won three Super Bowls. The Chiefs also brought back offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, who helped Kansas City win two championships during his first run in that position.

Moreover, the Chiefs landed reigning Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III. Walker ran for 135 yards while leading Seattle to a 29-13 victory in Super Bowl LX. He is primed to make an immediate impact for a Kansas City offense that has cycled through a collection of running backs in recent years.

Chicago Bears Super Bowl Odds: An Explosive Offense at 25-1

The Chicago Bears may be one of the most dangerous offensive teams available at 25-1.

Caleb Williams took an important step forward during his first season with head coach Ben Johnson. Chicago finished ninth in the NFL by scoring 25.9 points per game. The offense should be even more comfortable during its second year in Johnson’s system.

The Bears spent too much time playing from behind last season, but Williams repeatedly showed that he could lead late rallies. Chicago recorded five fourth-quarter comeback wins during one stretch of the season. That was exciting for Bears fans, but it is not a dependable formula for winning a championship.

If the Bears can avoid slow starts and play with a lead more often, their offense could become very difficult to stop. Williams has a talented collection of weapons around him, including Rome Odunze, Colston Loveland, Luther Burden III, D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai.

With better early-game execution, Chicago has the offensive ceiling of a team whose Super Bowl odds could move well below 25-1.

Houston Texans Super Bowl Odds: An Elite Defense at 17-1

The Cincinnati Bengals are tempting at 20-1 because a healthy Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins can compete with almost any offense. Cincinnati also made major defensive additions, including Dexter Lawrence II and Jonathan Allen.

However, our preferred AFC value is the Houston Texans at 17-1.

At times last season, the Texans looked like they were building an all-decade type of defensive unit. Houston finished first in total defense by allowing only 277.2 yards per game. The Texans also ranked second in scoring defense at 17.4 points allowed per game.

Will Anderson Jr. and Derek Stingley Jr. earned first-team All-Pro honors, while Danielle Hunter made the second team. Anderson and Hunter create pressure from both sides, while Stingley leads one of the NFL’s best secondaries.

That defense gives Houston a chance to win games even when its offense is not at its best. If C.J. Stroud and the offense can provide consistent support, the Texans have a championship formula that makes 17-1 look attractive.

Honorable-Mention NFL Futures Bets for 2026

If you are not sold on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 50-1, consider taking a longer swing on another NFC South team. The Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints all begin the season at 80-1. One unexpected division winner could see those odds shorten dramatically.

The Tennessee Titans also offer a fun storyline at 150-1. Former New York head coaches Robert Saleh and Brian Daboll have joined forces in Tennessee. Saleh, the former New York Jets head coach, now leads the Titans. Daboll, the former New York Giants head coach, directs the offense.

Second-year quarterback Cam Ward is the centerpiece of the rebuild, while Tony Pollard enters the season atop the backfield. If Saleh can quickly reshape the defense and Daboll helps Ward take a major step forward, Tennessee has enough upside to make its 150-1 price an interesting long-shot play.
